Terms of Service

Get 9 is made for players of all ages, including children. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), a parent, guardian or teacher must agree to these Terms for you, and should help you understand them. When a school or teacher uses Get 9 with a class, the school or teacher agrees to these Terms for that use.

When you buy the Game, we give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to play it on devices you own or control, as the store you bought it from allows (including family sharing, where offered), for your own entertainment and learning. Teachers and schools may also use the Game in classrooms for teaching. You may not sell, rent, copy, modify or redistribute the Game, or use it for any other commercial purpose.

Get 9 is a premium game. You pay once, at the price shown in the store, and get the whole Game. It doesn't show ads and has no in-app purchases. If that ever changes, we'll update these Terms first.

• Your nickname appears on leaderboards and in Group Competitions. Please choose a friendly nickname and don't use your full real name, contact details, or anything rude, hurtful or pretending to be someone else.
• Group names and school names must follow the same rules.
• If you create a group, share its join code only with the people you want in it (for example, your class), and keep the group's name appropriate.
• We may change or remove a nickname or group name, remove a player from a leaderboard or group, or close a group if it breaks these rules.

When you use the Game, you agree not to:

• Cheat, use bots, or exploit bugs to change scores, stars or leaderboard results.
• Hack, reverse engineer, decompile or try to get around how the Game works, except where the law allows it.
• Interfere with the Game's servers or other players' fun.
• Use the Game to break any law.

Our Privacy Policy explains the limited information the Game handles, how we use it, and how parents, guardians and teachers can ask us to review or delete it.

You buy and download the Game through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and their terms also apply to your purchase. The store handles payment, refunds and family sharing under its own policies, so please send refund requests to the store you bought the Game from. We never receive your payment details. Purchases are made by the store account holder, so parents can use the store's parental controls (such as Apple's Ask to Buy or Google Play's purchase approvals).

These Terms are between you and Rainspire Studios, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the Game, its content, support or maintenance, or any claims about it. If you bought the Game from the Apple App Store and it fails to meet a warranty that applies to it, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation for the Game. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

The Game, including its software, design, artwork, sounds and text, belongs to Rainspire Studios and its licensors. GET 9™ and GameKraft®, and the GET 9 card designs, are owned by GameKraft and used with permission. These Terms don't give you any rights to these names, logos or designs beyond playing the Game.

The Game links to a page where grown-ups can buy the physical GET 9 card game. That page is run by someone else, under its own terms and privacy policy, and we aren't responsible for it.

We're always working to improve the Game. We may add, change or remove features, levels or challenges, reset leaderboards, or stop offering the Game, at any time and without notice. Your progress is saved on your device, so deleting the Game may delete it.

You can stop playing at any time by deleting the Game. We may suspend or end your access to online features, such as leaderboards and Group Competitions, if you break these Terms.

We work hard to make the Game fun and reliable, but it is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise that the Game will always be available, error-free or free of bugs.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Rainspire Studios won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or progress, arising from your use of the Game. Our total liability for any claim about the Game is limited to the amount you paid for it. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live says otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, give additional notice. If you keep playing after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
