Information we receive through Skillz

• Your Skillz username or player ID, and profile details you choose to show other players (such as an avatar).
• Gameplay data: the moves you make, your scores, and the results of your matches and tournaments. This is shared with Skillz so it can run matches and determine winners.
• Aggregated reports from Skillz about how the Game is performing (for example, numbers of players and matches). These reports don't identify you.

Information processed automatically

• Basic technical information needed for the Game to run and connect to Skillz's servers, such as your device's IP address, device type, operating system, and app version.
• Crash reports and diagnostics that Apple or Google provide to us, if you've chosen to share them in your device settings.

Information you send us

If you contact us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

Skillz collects information directly from you and your device under its own privacy policy. According to Skillz's Privacy Policy, this can include:

• Account and contact details, such as your username, email address, phone number, date of birth, and address.
• Payment and financial information for deposits, entry fees, and withdrawals, handled by Skillz and its payment processors.
• Location: approximate location from your IP address, and precise location if you allow it in your device settings. Skillz uses location, for example, to check whether cash competitions are available where you are.
• Identity verification information, such as a government-issued ID, if Skillz needs to confirm who you are (for example, to prevent fraud).
• Device and usage information, including device and advertising identifiers, which Skillz may use for analytics, attribution, and advertising.
• Gameplay records (including recordings of gameplay), chat and in-app messages, and support requests.
• Your phone contacts, only if you allow access.

Skillz is responsible for how it collects, uses, and shares this information. We encourage you to read Skillz's Privacy Policy and the Skillz Terms of Service shown in the app.

• We don't receive or store your payment card or bank details, or your identity documents. Skillz handles these.
• We don't show third-party ads in King of the Hill.
• We don't sell your personal information.
• We don't collect more than we need to run, support, and improve the Game.

• To operate the Game and its competitive features with Skillz, including matches, scoring, and results.
• To keep competition fair and protect the Game, including detecting cheating and abuse.
• To understand how the Game is played, using aggregated reports and diagnostics, so we can fix bugs, balance gameplay, and improve the experience.
• To respond to your support requests.
• To comply with legal obligations.

• With Skillz: gameplay data, scores, results, and the technical information needed to run matches, determine winners, and prevent fraud. Skillz uses this under its own privacy policy.
• With other players: your Skillz username, avatar, and match results are visible to your opponents and may appear on leaderboards.
• Service providers: companies that help us run the Game (such as cloud hosting) process data on our behalf only to provide those services.
• App stores: Apple and Google distribute the Game and may provide us with diagnostics as described above.
• Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the Game and its players.

We do not sell your personal information.

We keep gameplay and support information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Aggregated reports may be kept to help us understand trends over time. Information held by Skillz is retained according to Skillz's own policies.

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the Game. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

King of the Hill is intended only for players aged 18 and older. Skillz's services are not intended for anyone under 18, and cash competitions are subject to Skillz's eligibility rules. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@rainspirestudios.com and we will take steps to delete it.

Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA and UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

• Information we hold: to make a request, contact us at support@rainspirestudios.com. Because Skillz runs player accounts, the information we hold about you is limited.
• Your Skillz account: you can edit your account in the app and request account deletion through the Skillz Help Center. For other requests about information Skillz holds, including opting out of the sale or sharing of personal information, follow the instructions in Skillz's Privacy Policy.
• Location: you can turn off precise location for the Game in your device settings. This may limit access to cash competitions.
• Tracking on iOS: if the app asks for permission to track through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, you can decline, and change it any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Advertising ID on Android: you can delete or reset your advertising ID and opt out of ads personalization in Settings → Google → Ads.

Rainspire Studios LLC is based in the United States. If you access the Game from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we, Skillz, or our service providers operate. Cash competitions are only available where Skillz permits them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Game after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
